Travel costs caused as a result of the attendance to the personal interview in Madrid and to the group training (stages 2 and 3 of the selection process) shall be borne by the applicant. As soon as a candidate is selected as a member of the Challenge Team (after phase 3), the organisation shall bear all the costs involved in their participation.

What physical condition do I need to be in?

To participate in the Desafío Santalucía Seniors it is essential to be in a physical and mental fitness. Proper preparation not only enhances the experience, but also reduces the risks associated with activities in demanding environments.

It is essential to have a good cardiovascular capacity, being able to perform moderate to high-intensity exercises on a daily basis. Strength in the legs and back is also key to withstanding prolonged efforts and handling light loads during the activity.

It is also important to maintain good overall health, avoiding uncontrolled chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or heart problems, which could pose a risk to the participant’s safety.

The five participants will receive guidance from the Sports Director in the months leading up to the expedition, who will prepare them both physically and mentally to face the challenge in the best possible conditions.

What is the date of the Challenge?
